dc.description.abstract The conventional methods used in Uganda like generally manual, and existing technologies of controlling vehicle headlight glare are not suitable because of their costs, geographical nature and vehicles standards used. Early detection of high intensity of light that is in position to cause effect to opposite driver and respond automatically to that light by diming it to conducive level is the possible ways to avoid great losses and environmental damages. Hence, an advanced system for automatic vehicle headlight glare control using wireless sensor network and light intensity measures is developed which overcomes the demerits of the existing technologies of glare control in vehicle. This project consists of an Atmel chip the 8-bit ATMega328PU microcontroller in 28 pin DIP packages, NRf modules, sensing elements these include LDR sensor that detects intensity of light received at the interface of vehicle surface and NRF module to send notification message to the opposite nearest vehicle basing on the address of the received. The objective of the project is to provide automatic vehicle headlight for glare control. The system is automatic, locates light sources, measures intensity, send notification that contains signal of dim it. en_US
