It talks about the historical back ground of the current KSL, how it has been performing since its establishment, its location, vision, mission and strategic objectives, core values, organization structure, study organization, methodology and implementation of the industrial training of the student, objectives of study and significance of the study Chapter two: is about the work done during the training; it talks about the different sections in Agriculture workshop, operations done under each section, machines, tools and implements used and how they are handled, the experiences and new lessons learnt from the training. The purpose of Industrial Training was to provide exposure for students on practical engineering aspects in the industry. There was a positive response to the training program since there were colleagues throughout this period. The sections of the industrial training include; car repairs and maintenance. On the first day, several activities like the daily maintenance operations, repairs were carried out following a specific schedule but managed to get exposed to the various cars. However, there were challenges faced including failure to schedule training time, shortage of meals since everyone was meant to feed him/herself, no transport allowances even when required to report early at work. Through all these hardships still managed to achieve the set goals in training. It also explains the development of practical and professional skills in the fields of agriculture workshop and agriculture engineering carried out at Kimbimba Limited (KL). Chapter one introduces the background of the industrial training and its importance and objectives as a core indispensable part of the learning process for students pursuing a career as engineering professionals. It also contains an overview of Kibimba Limited- the company I trained at including its history and administrative hierarchy. Chapter two goes on to elaborate on the training and shows the different aspects of material that we covered. It contains the knowledge gained from the period of industrial training. This chapter is structured to cater for the different sections of the agricultural department where we were assigned the implement section, agricultural workshop, garage, rice mill and field all having different learning outcomes. The entire lot of knowledge and experiences could not be fully documented and therefore this report is a summary of the knowledge and experiences. Chapter three provides a brief about the experiences and challenges faced together with the solutions we came up with.
