Abstract:
This report comprises of all the industrial training I carried out with the LWF Luuka sub programme for eight weeks, most of the objectives I had a chance to practice them and now I report with confidence of what I relate with the theoretical knowledge I gained. From all what I got; I can apply all in my future occupation.
I mainly concentrated in the lune of Agricultural FFS, farmers Cooperatives and Farmers groups where most of them had an intention of doing Agribusiness to improve on food security and 1 household income.
I did this through paying field visits to cooperative stores, offices, gardens and different households where I interacted openly with farmers in person and groups at large. This helped me to improve on my communication skills and also applied lecture knowledge into practice.
The district being too big, I was un able to visit all the fields, on addition, the households ate also at a distance from the LWF project offices, Transport difficulties like poor roads, uninformed farmers about the project on how it is operating and how to benefit, when to benefit and so on, required a lot of time to explain to them.
