Abstract:
Industrial training is one of the course modules carried out by student at the end of the first year.
It is aimed at empowering students with various skills in the field so as to meet their requirements and this was carried out in Omodoi Sub County from 19-06-2023 to 11-08-2023.
Industrial training is a practical module done by all courses at their respective places of attachment and the students are exposed to practical aspects in the field in form of internship and research for all. Objective of internship is to improve data collection procedures among students, to gain practical skills and experience, to improve confidence in problem solving in real work situation, to enable students learn from challenges of the work place. This report starts with introduction, background, vision, mission objectives of Omodoi Sub County. Skills gained include; meat inspection, routine examination, decision after post mortem, disposal of condemned caucus, tick control, disease investigation, deworming, animal treatment, vaccination. Recommendations conclusions and observations to Omodoi sub county and appendices which include; photos, work plan and the references.
