Abstract:
This internship report was compiled during my industrial training that lasted for 8 Weeks in Alwa Sub-county in Kaberamaido District. The Sub-county provides a public service by taking services closer to the community. My activities during the internship where in line with government programs and included; vaccination of animals, agricultural extension service delivery,
implementation of parish development model and microscale irrigation program. The experience, knowledge and skills gained during my internship have made me understand the relationship between class room lectures and dynamics of extension service delivery. The exposure during the internship has also prepared me for employment and has enabled me build a robust net-work with different professionals in the eight departments in the Sub county and Kaberamaido District. The challenges faced during the internship were addressed with support from the Sub-county technical staff and political leaders who were willing to mentor and support me.
