dc.description.abstract This article provides an overview of the challenges faced by Uganda's cotton industry, articulate the research objectives, and outline the significance and scope of this comprehensive study. As the article delves deeper into the article’s subsequent sections, it shall explore the current state of cotton ginning practices, investigate international best practices, engage with stakeholders, and present in the Statement of the problem. It shall also look at the objectives of this research, both main and specific objectives, methodology, expectations, proposed budget and work plan to see this research through. Ultimately, the goal is to contribute to the revitalization of Uganda's cotton industry, reduce its reliance on imports, bolster economic resilience, and foster a more sustainable future. en_US
