Report for field attachment carried out in mountain Elgon national park.

Abstract

The recess term report shows detailed activities carried out at MT Elgon National Park Kapkwai sector for a period of one month. Chapter one covers the introduction of recess, objectives of recess, historical background of Mt Elgon national park, organizational structure of the park, departments, accessibility, maps showing the geographical location and size of the park. It also has the history, mission, vision, and the organizational structure of Uganda wildlife Authority. Chapter two, this chapter talks about the materials and methods used in the field to meet the internship objectives. Chapter three states the results attained from my internship following the activities carried out during the trip. Chapter four displays the skills acquired during the field attachment how use full it is to my profession and career. This chapter also gives the strength and weakness of Mt Elgon national park. Also, the chapter highlights other activities assigned by the field supervisor, the degree of accomplishment and how the activities were relevant in uplifting my profession in tourism and hospitality. Chapter five summarizes all the discussions in chapter two, three, and four.
