Abstract:
The recess term covers duration of two months activities carried out at Uganda wildlife authority in Mt. Elgon national park. Chapter one talks about the background to Recess, objectives of the Recess, description of field attachment area which covers historical background of Mt. Elgon national park, and its management structure, uniqueness of Mt. Elgon national park, maps showing the location and the size of the park as well as the activities carried out in Mt. Elgon national park. Chapter two covers the methods and materials used in the field to achieve my internship objectives. Chapter three presents a clear discussion and results of the Recess attained from my recess project which covers activities carried out during my recess term. Chapter four talked about attachment experienced by the students which includes skills learnt and how relevant to the student’s professional and carrier growth, the evaluation of the strength and weaknesses of the organization where attached in relation to my professional growth, other activities assigned by the field supervisor, level of accomplishment and how relevant the activities were to my professional growth. Chapter five covers the recommendations, conclusions covering chapters two, three and four and finally the references.
