dc.description.abstract The quality of handwriting among lower primary learners has been a persistent issue, similar to other regions worldwide. The lack of adequate resources and teacher training has hindered the development of good handwriting skill. Moreover, the increasing use of technology and digital communication has led to the reduction in the importance placed on good handwriting skills. However, good handwriting remains an essential skill for effective communication and academic success. This study aimed at finding out how poor handwriting distracts the perception of contents on the actual teaching learning process among learners in Rubongi Sub County, Tororo district. According to Cale, (20212), defines learners fail to aster the prepared content due to various aspects. I looked at learners’ handwriting during the teaching learning process and discovered that it was really unfavourable. I imagined whether teacher’s handwriting on the chalkboard was too bad but literally most learners weren’t in the handwriting process. I thought of what to do next that would cause change among learners to write well. And thus this research report. en_US
