dc.description.abstract The study focused on an investigation on the relationship between the fishing activities and school drop out in the fishing communities in Mutumba sub county in Namayingo district. At least 7 schools were sampled to the findings that revealed that school drop out in the fishing communities was a reality. It really confirmed the research hypothesis that there is a significant relationship between school dropout and fishing activities factors. This study made the recommendations to all stake holders to address the challenges faced by school drop outs as observed from the study. en_US
