In Uganda, the most typical treatment strategy is by Pharmacotherapy only the disadvantage attached to this is the development of resistance for many of these treatments. The most typical therapy in Uganda currently is the combination of Lumefantrine and Artemether. Coartem is a combination of Lumefantrine and artemether used to treat malarial infections in Uganda. Due to many resistances developments, many individuals have resorted to using herbal medicine in Uganda, more so vernonia amygdalina and aloe Vera. Vernonia amygdalina and Aloe Vera are commonly anti-malarial since they possess ant malarial ingredients. Therefore, the research is based on reviewing and exploring the presence of Artemether and Lumefantrine in vernonia amygdalina and Aloe Vera.
