dc.description.abstract This report contains and described the activities implemented, skills and qualifications gained, challenges faced during the industrial training, the conclusion of the report, and recommendations derived from the challenges faced at DUL Nwoya district. The objectives of industrial training are to make students benefit from the skills and knowledge gamed from the field, apply the knowledge gained the from classroom to the field of work, and build confidence in them During the internship, I was attached to various departments such as in animal production section and crop production section. This was followed by orientation where I was first introduced to orchard practices and later carried out some of the activities like pruning, grafting, etc. followed by IPM where I was able to make fruit flies traps, field outings, and vegetative propagation like mar coating, layering and some activities like deworming goats, pigs, castration, fire management, nursery bed management and finally to management which I managed to handle chemicals, prescriptions, and their recommended dosage and targets and some challenges were also encountered during the IT such as long distance, poor medical attention and accommodation and limited veterinary failure of some personnel to attend to us in the field. In conclusion, all the activities were successfully done I was able to gain a lot of practical skills and knowledge in line with my career, and the recommendation I can offer to DUL they should employ more farm workers, a health worker in the farm, and management should purchase more tractors in order to ease work in the farm since it has much hectares' of farmland en_US
