Abstract:
This report is composed of four chapters. Chapter one covers the introduction to the industrial training aims and objectives i.e. locations, background, the organization structure, climate of the area, temperature of the sub-county, population, and relief of Busia district.
Chapter two describes the activity done during the training and looks at it in detail e.g. TOT training. This involves training of top farmers in the village to help in the training of other members in the village training on value chain analysis which exposes the farmers on the different ways of values on the different activities and how to maintain their enterprises and wealth, and sesame agronomy which involves the different activities that are needed for successful cultivation of sesame two for exam weeding, seedbed preparation, spacing thinning, seed rate, diseases and pest control technique and others then pig production and measures to be taken for a successful project and it involves choosing the right breeds of pig for a particular purpose e.g. liter size, meat, conversion rate, resistant to diseases, mating ability and many others which has to be taken for successful management then chapter three which gives the experience and lesson learnt during the training then chapter four summaries with the challenges met during the training , recommendation and some of the steps to be taken to improves the training and conclusion of the report which summarizes the report and shows how the training has been conducted.
