During the. internship period, I was able to compare/ used the knowledge got in class acquire practical aspects of it such as castration, leadership skills and communication skills and I was able to gain confidence associating with people. The followings are some of the challenges faced during the attachment period which include; Long working hours, Harsh climate conditions, language barrier, delayed assessment, unfulfilled expectations like making organic pesticides, IMO preparation, and jelly processing in BDC. In conclusion, the training was successful because it was actively and lively done with the interactions with the section heads, farmers, students, Education and training [E&T] and my fellow interns sharing new experiences, skills, and ideas in the agriculture sector. I would recommend Busitema University Arapai campus to make sure that the students undertake industrial training as it helps to build on their confidence, and practical skills and be task-oriented and routine engagement in the profession. en_US
