Chapter one
Chapter one details the background and location of the farm, its mission, vision goal, objectives of the farm and organizational structure
Chapter two
During industrial training, I managed to reach different sections of the farm which include call management, hay and silage making, disease diagnosis and treatment, milking using machines, and dehorning and castration of animals.
Chapter three
Chapter three describes the impact of the attachment. It entails the skills attained for example I learnt how to manage calves and handle bucket feeding. Responsibilities undertaken during my internship such as cleaning the calf barn are also indicated in this chapter. This chapter also indicates how industrial training has influenced my future career and lastly the correlation of activities with classroom knowledge.
Chapter four
Chapter four describes the conclusion and recommendations
Though a lot of things were achieved, I faced some challenges such as few facilities at the farm insufficient practicals, and the crowded trainees on a specimen during practicals like castration, and dehorning of animals.
Conclusively the industrial training was successfully done and helped me to attain the intended skills and experience in both animal and crop management.
