dc.description.abstract Industrial training is a course module at Busitema university Arapai campus offered by students offering CGA, DCP, DAP, BAB, and APM courses. It is conducted at the end of the first academic year in the second semester, Students are allowed to conduct I.T at any agricultural training, research institutions, and agricultural farms of their preference to enable students to enable them to transform their theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge The major activities that were carried out are; Feeding of the calves, dipping of animals, feeding of dairy animals establishment of pastures, nursery bed establishment planting seeds, watering, transplanting, haymaking, fish pond management, cleaning the milking parlor and calf pens castration of young male calves, dehorning, de-budding, horticulture management, milking, fodder harvesting and feeding of animals, pet management, making, orchard management, pasture identification, de-worming of dairy cows, animal equipment identification and ear tagging, treating animals, disease diagnosis, pregnancy diagnosis, hoof trimming, drug identification, organic farming, plant tea preparation, among others, These activities conducted in both animal and crop section by all intern students with the help of the field supervisors CHAPTER ONE; This indicates a brief introduction, the location of the farm, background of the farm. It also indicates the mission, vision, objectives of the farm, organizational structure of the farm, challenges faced by the farm, and finally talks about the climate and vegetation of the area. CHAPTER TWO; this covers the description of activities that we carried out like dehorning, dipping, nursery bed preparation, field marking, treating of animals, and planting of Napier grass drug identification among others. But not forgetting outreaches that were conducted every Friday by visiting different farmers with different enterprises. CHAPTER THREE; This points out some of the impacts of being at the farm, skills, and knowledge gained, responsibilities assigned, the influence of the LT on my future career, and finally the relationship of the training with my classroom work. CHAPTER FOUR; This talks about the SWOT analysis of the farm, conclusions and recommendations to both Kasajja Stock Farm and BUAC, and finally the appendix. en_US
