Industrial training report carried out at Teso college Aloet farm.

Abstract

Industrial training is a practical module undertaken by students during their recess term and is basically to help students acquire more practical knowledge and skills from the field of attachment on the activities related to the area of study and also to transform theoretical work into practical work. The internship was carried out at TCASF located 7ktn from Soroti city along the Soroti-Moroto highway. The training involved several activities in both crop and animals which were done at the farm and these include deworming, tick control, pasture improvement, agronomic practices in banana and pineapple, soil sterilization, etc. challenges Were faced during the study like inadequate equipment to carry out farm activities in the farm. Conclusively besides hardships encountered during the study the training -was accomplished and done successfully I do recommend TCASF provide enough training equipment to enable students to carry out practical activities in time.
