Abstract:
I carried out my industrial training program at Busitema University Arapai Campus from 2e/02/2022 to 20/04/ 020 he FAAS of BUAC designed this field attachment with an intension of developing capacity of students pursuing various skills in animal production and management, crop production and management as well as serving as the fulfilment for the award of a Certificate in General Agriculture.
This report is formulated of four chapters which carry different information.
Chapter one contains and describes the background, location, objectives and field of business of the Busitema farm.
Chapter two explains and describes the departments of attachment, familiarization phase, and task description during the internship. It also explains all the activities that were carried out during the internship like castration, spraying general cleaning, deworming, dehorning animal monitoring and treatment, budding, grafting, potting of seedlings,
Chapter three contains the skills gained during the intern IP, responsibilities undertaken, influence of industrial training to the student's future career, and correlation of the internship activities with the classroom knowledge
Chapter four contains conclusions and recommendations
