Field attachment carried out in Soroti government prison.

Abstract

This attachment study was carried out at Uganda government prison Soroti main with the intension of enabling agribusiness students get practical experience and real insight to life situations in the world and, have opportunities in the job market. This brings opportunities of businesses in agricultural setting without forgetting creating relationship between the institution and the community. This report consists of the background of the organization; its history, location, mission, vision, objectives, organization structure, agricultural products produced by organization, tasks of the organization, functional areas in the organization; activities carried out by the organization, the internee student during attachment period, challenges faced during carrying out assignments. and their recommendations. The experience gained by the internee during this attachment helps in building into the kind of future responsibilities to be held in the real field. My career is therefore defined because I had such exposure.
