Industrial training report at Uwepo limited, Buikwe district.

Abstract

Industrial training is a module that is conducted within or outside the University for the Aim of acquiring skills and knowledge by the students. The main reason for this training is to enable students apply the theoretical part into practical so that they get skills and get prepared for the field after the course. During this IT I carried out several activities which included designing a proposal for the kraal nursery management practices i.e. soil sterilization, potting, watering, pruning citrus among others, livestock management practices such as feeding animals, animal treatment, transferring fish fingerlings and grading according to size and age and constructing a kraal. In this training I obtained a lot of skills in both crop and animal sections and also faced some problems for example inadequate materials, reliable power supply and bad weather conditions. In conclusion therefore these problems can be solved through getting a reliable power source other than solar power, buying more tools for training.
