Abstract

This report covers a period between 21 May to 21 August 2018, In this report, there are four main units covered as follows diary, nuclear estate, agronomy, and horticulture where I actively participated and. acquired skills and knowledge. Under diary activities like milking, bucket feeding, general cleanliness, pasture management and parasite control. Section mainly concerned with Animal production, identification of animal diseases and diagnosis; maintenance of the farm, spraying of animals, Nucleus estate deals with land preparation, planting of canes, sugar cane up keep fertilizer application, identification of pest and diseases as well. as their diagnosis. In agronomy activities included tiller counting, soil sampling, fertilizer analysis; ill the laboratory cane maturity, among others which are mainly carried out in the Laboratory Horticulture- activities include ornamentals, vegetables production; -composite making, lawn management and establishment.
