dc.description.abstract Industrial training is one of the course units carried out at Busitema university and it’s done outside lecture room, it involves interactions between field supervisor, farmers or communities, extension workers and intern students, did my industrial for about 10weeks, from Monday 28th February to Friday 6th may/2022 (two months and two weeks) and was divided into 2 sections In the field, we attended quiet a number of trainings with Uganda Youth Engine beneficiaries which is the project I was attached to, I also attended many inceptions meetings at Patongo Counselling Community Outreach, Patongo Town Council at different hotels such as White house Hotel and Wetland Hotel and some meetings were done from Agago district headquarters we did field sport check-up as well for the success stories for the beneficiaries for Uganda Youth Engine in this activity we moved to the different beneficiary's gardens to cross check whether they followed the good agronomies they were trained on like planting crops in line, intercropping the soybeans with cassava, and others, And verifications for the number beneficiaries who got the seeds seals as instructed by their agents In the office, we attended various Monday meetings which always take place every Monday majorly for departmental updates where travel plans are aired out by the various department for the head of office and logistic to take notes off and covid-19 updates are passed out in this meeting, we attended many trainings such as Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI), Akorion/Ezyagric training on how to install comm care apps in smartphones, and training on programmes systems and personal security when travelling or at the offices, we did data entry for the UYE beneficiaries names for all the benefiting sub-counties of Geregere, Adilang, Wol, and Kotcmora we assisted the Maternal New borne Child Health-Nutrition (MNCHN) under the project Act Health team in data entry for community conversations, we also attended safeguarding trainings with our field supervisors and head of human resource from the main office Kampala. en_US
