Industrial training report carried out at Manafwa town council local government.

Abstract

The report is a compilation of what the int learnt and carried out practically while in ruhengere field station during farm and community practice period for a period of 8 weeks. The intern learnt about the background, the activities of the organization, products and services delivered to its customers, beneficiaries of the organization, its structure and objectives.

The intern described the attachment sector, carried out activities like; tentative diagnosis and treatment of diseases, pregnancy diagnosis, synchronization, artificial insemination, feeding of cattle, record keeping, pasture improvement and management, putting down fire outbreaks deworming, castration, dehorning, ear tagging and so many other activities which could not be put in writing due to space limit.

The report also comprises of reporting and induction at the work place. task description and mentoring situation. Skills gained, responsibilities under taken, personal contribution to the organization, how activities carried out in the field are correlated with classroom knowledge. Management of the internship program at the work place and comments on the findings, general observation about ruhengere field station, conclusion and recommendations.

This is report also contains the work plan, table and figures reflecting activities carried out and the references for approval.
