A report on field attachment / internship at Pader district local government under district production department in Pader district

Abstract

During the period between 28th February to 6th May 2022, an internship training was undertaken at Pader District Local Government in Northern Uganda as a requirement for partial fulfillment for the programme leading to the award of a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Production and Management of Busitema University. The training started with orientation of interns at the District Headquarters. Field activities carried out during the training period included practices broadly categorized under animal breeding, animal feeding and nutrition, animal housing, animal health management, animal traction, animal identification, public health and quality assurance.
