In event of the training I was able to learn new knowledge and skills which included but not limited to;
Practical skills. I learnt how to vaccinate animals using different types of vaccines
I learnt how to diagnose different types of livestock diseases
I learnt how to do office paper work
I learnt the relevance of working relationship as this promotes team spirit within the work place among others
However, during the training, I also encountered a number of challenges among which include but not limited to; lack of transport from home to the internship place, too much rainfall which affected most of the schedules, high expectation from farmers for facilitation among others
I do recommend that during the internship send off by the university, they should always provide students with lunch allowances and some transport facilitation for easy conduct of internship by students
