An industrial training attachment report carried out at Arua district local government under department of production and marketing- veterinary department.

Abstract

Busitema university Arapai campus, faculty of agriculture and animal sciences designed field attachment or recess term with the aim of building capacity of students pursuing CGA, DCP, DAP, APM and AGB in practical skills related to their areas of specialization in various fields of agriculture in comparison with knowledge acquired from classroom as well as partial requirement for the award of diploma in animal production and management (DAP) for my course. This industrial training report covers description and compilation of activities that were carried out during the industrial training report from 28th february.2022 to 6th may, 2022.

I carried out my industrial training at Arua district local government under the department of production and marketing (veterinary department).

This report covers the introduction whereby the history, background, vision, and mission, location, land, area and administration set up.

Description of attachment where by orientations, meat inspection, clinical treatments were covered. It also covers impact of the activities where by knowledge gained, skills gained, how the attachment influenced my future career plans and correlation of the attachment to my classroom knowledge were covered This report also covers conclusion and recommendations Finally, it covers appendices and references where by activity work plan, photographic illustration of activities were covered.
