Abstract:
This report was complied during my industrial training that lasted for 10 weeks at Kasajja stock farm. The major purpose of this training is to fulfill the requirements needed for a partial fulfillment in a diploma in animal Production and management and also to put theoretical knowledge got from class into practice.
This report covers the identification of industrial training clearly including the location, mission of the farm, objectives, background, climate and vegetation of Kasajja stock farm
We carried out activities like deworming, spraying cattle, crop disease diagnosis, hay making, dipping of animals, apiculture, pasture establishment, crop establishment as location, banana management and castration, silage making and many more others
It also entails the importance of attachment that I ills gained during industrial training, responsibilities, how the training influence mature career plans, how the training relates to class room work.
However, I encountered some challenges in the period of industrial training for example poor road connection to the farm and many more others.
