Industrial training report carried out on animal production and management at Soroti district local government, veterinary sector.

Abstract

This is a report of what was carried out in Soroti District Local Government during the internship. The activities implemented were categorized into three sections i.e., office work, field work and public health. This report therefore documents these activities as explained in the four chapters below; Chapter one introduces us to the place of attachment; location of SDLG, historical overview, soil vegetation and climate of the area of attachment, economic context, settlement patterns, ethnicity, administration, organizational structure of district production and marketing department and objectives of the veterinary sector. Chapter two describes activities implemented during the attachment period which includes; field, office work and public health activities.
