dc.description.abstract This report consists of four chapters i.e., one, two, three, and four. During internship I was attached to the department of both animal and crop production. Chapter one talks out the location and the historical background of the farm, the farm is located at Telela, Omit parish Lira city west. Chapter two talks about the description of the various sections and attachment. The farm had various sections i.e., poultry, cattle and goats, piggery and finally gar n, orchard and horticulture. I carried out a number of activities in the different sections with' the farm i.e., animal management practices like, animal treatment which included Deworming of pigs, vaccination of chickens, Deworming of goats and cattle, insemination, synchronization, grooming, skills in general management of animals and others. In the crop department I carried out activities like spraying, pruning, transplanting, soya roasting to mention but a few. Chapter three describes the impacts, skills gained and responsibilities undertaken, I gained skills like how to operate various machines, milking skills, brooding skills and others. I also undertook responsibilities like record keeping, being available at the place of rk attachment and also ensuring proper time management. Chapter four describes t impacts of the attachment the challenges faced and also the recommendations, The impact oft attachment include, I was able to relate the theory in class with the activities in the field, I as also able to engage in some of the practices and gained skills which I know I won't be ab to forget again. In the field, I also faced challenges i.e., the real date of the internship wasn't c ar and this was a big problem. I also faced some challenges like; machine operations, la of veterinary drugs and equipment at the farm, difficulties in implementing the p Sible solution to certain problem we encountered at the farm, lack of enough tools and equipment The recommendations include, the university should set clear dates for the internship to a Old confusion, the government should improve on the infrastructures in omito such as extension of electricity to the area to ease the activities in the farm to mention but a few . In conclusion all the activities were implemented and industrial training went on successfully and all the activities were educative and had a great impact in me and I was able to gain a lot. en_US
