dc.description.abstract Industrial training at K.S.F was done successful with the guidance of the field supervisor and my fellow students not forgetting the workers in their respective work places I was trained in different activities both in animal section and crop section under different enterprises carried out at the farm like crop i.e., banana enterprise, beans, sunflower, cereals; cattle i.e., milk for Consumption, apiculture, aquaculture i.e., fish keeping. In animal section, I carried out the following. activities like Orientation that was done. in the first week We arrived, dehorning, castration, drug identification, feeding milking equipment, identification, treatments disease diagnosis cleaning calf pen and milking parlor. In-crop section, I carried out activities like nursery bed preparations, Banana management, and land preparation i.e., Weeding. We carried out Jees of crop activities because of the delays in the rains. IN CHAPTER ONE; In this it fully introduces the farm i.e., KSF, its location as well e.g. [t was located in Nakaloke sub county in Kolonyi zone along Kabwangasi road Mbale district. It talks about the background of the farm as it was. started in 1985 with-5- Friesian heads of cattle introduced by the late SAMSON BYAKIKA aid currently the farm has over 80 dairy cattle. .it also indicates the mission of the farm, the objectives and organization structure. IN CHAPTER TWO; it wholly describes the activities in details i.e., castration, dehorning, fish keeping; and many others including. talking about the outreaches that we carried out on every Fridays by visiting different farmers with different enterprises like poultry, pineapple passion fruits and small ruminants. IN CHAPTER THREE; This points out the impact of being at the farm Skills and knowledge obtained at the farm, responsibilities, influence of the training on my future career, it also reflects the relationship of the training with classwork -and laying out the challenges faced during the farm activities. IN CHAPTER FOUR; Talks about the SWOT analysis of the farm, conclusions of the activities and outreaches during the training at KSF. It also lists out the recommendations to both KSF and to BUAC. Lastly it includes' the appendix that contains the photos; references maps, tables and work plan. en_US
