An industrial training report carried out at Bulaago stock farm located in Bulaago sub-county, Bulambuli district.

Abstract

The internship training was conducted at Bulaago stock farm located in Bulambuli district for a period of Eight week from 28th February, 2022 to 27th April, 2022. The purpose of this training was to equip students with sustainable practical skills that are relevant to their respective courses especially in (APM) Animal Production and Management. During this period of Eight weeks, many activities were under taken cohortly and these included castration, dehorning, deworming, spraying, pasture establishment and management, farm structure construction, disease diagnosis and treatment. Never the less, many challenges were encountered during the internship period such as bad weather condition, tiresome work done and transport costs to the farm. However, it was concluded that the industrial training was successfully carried out though with those fore mentioned unavoidable constraints. In recommendation the organization should adopt new feed Conservation starategies such as making of hay and silage to prepare for dry spell.
