Abstract:
Adraa Agriculture College is an organization which was started in the year 2012 By Franciscan brothers. My field attachment was carried out in Adraa agricultural college for the period of two month from 28th February 2022 to 6th may 2022,
The college has a section of outreach development program which function within Ofaka Subcounty and I was also engaged in the program teaching the community.
Adraa Agriculture College also has a department of education and training which offers the service of teaching short courses students and further have the section like demo plot, vegetables, field crops, livestock, bee keeping and finally administration.
In general, the college has seven functioning sections. During the period of my field attachment activities such as, artificial insemination, feed formulation, castration, ear tagging, tail docking, feeding animal deworming, etc. was done in the section of livestock.
Meanwhile in bee development center I was able to practically do wax making, propolis, packaging, sealing, grading honey, hive inspection, making of hives etc.
