Abstract:
Industrial training is a technical exposure of students to field activities to acquire working experiences which is a primary aim of transferring theories learnt in class to real practical in the field within communities. This report was carried out in MOYO TOWN COUNCIL from 28/02 Feb to 16/04 April 2022 as scheduled by the university and it contained both crop and animal fields. This report is elaborated in four chapters i.e.,
Chapter one of this report highlights on the background of the industrial training, farm back ground, objective of internship, mission, vision and the organizational structure of the town council.
Chapter two highlights on the description of the activities performed during the attachment that include: - Diseases investigation in livestock, identification, control and treatment of animal diseases, repair of a livestock structure like cattle crush and goats pen, planting of anew citrus garden, castration and management practices in both poultry and piggery.
Chapter three of this report highlights on the impacts of the attachments that include the skills and qualifications that I gained from the attachment, the responsibility undertaken during the attachment, the influence of the attachment to my future career plans and how the attachment activities correlate with my classroom knowledge.
Chapter four finally summarizes on the conclusion and recommendations of the attachment. At the back and last pages are the appendices which include the work plan and the field photos.
