The main objective of the field attachment was to obtain practical skills, knowledge and experience in the diverse fields of agriculture that help to broaden the knowledge of student in applying theoretical knowledge studied in class to the real life experience.
I attended various sections while at BuZARDI such as piggery production and management which involves breed identification, feeding, disease management, goat production, aquaculture, apiculture management, pasture poultry production, farm structure, agro forestry, and others which include soil.
Although the period was largely successful, there were some challenges encountered during this period of my industrial training such as bad weather, inadequate equipment for use in the field. I would therefore wish to recommend to the institute to purchase enough equipment's to smoothen field work. In conclusion the internship period was generally interesting and should encouraged for all students for their personal skill development.
