A comprehensive report carried out at Ngetta Zonal Agricultural Research and Development Institute (ZARDI).

Abstract

The purpose of this industrial training is to attain the practical skills both in crop husbandry by using the theoretical knowledge acquired by the student.

The industrial training was carried out for ten weeks and it was from Monday to Friday. Several activities were carried out in different field as a student was allocated to different section from the term.

In the first week, it was basically utilized for orientation to make me know the farm policies, premises and staff to deal with morals to have within the farm community.

The report contains introduction and historical background, location of the place of internship which was Ngetta Zardi.

The activities carried in Agriculture, Agroforestry, horticulture, and Adaptive research and crop production.

Challenges faced, solution, recommendation, conclusion of intern all constitute this report.
