A report of industrial training carried out at Busitema University- Arapai Campus farm.

Abstract

I compiled this study report during industrial training that begun on Monday 28th/ Feb/ 2022 and ended on Friday 29th/ April/ 2022. The training was for nine (9) weeks and l was carried out at Busitema University Arapai Campus (school farm).

This was to fulfill the requirements needed for the award of a diploma in crop production and management.

Putting much of the theoretical knowledge learnt in class, practice, acquire practical skills in farm management and get exposed to the working environment.

This industrial training report contains of four chapters and it clearly describes the details of the activities both practical and lectures that we performed at Busitema University- Arapai Campus which includes the following: - Busitema University- Arapai campus vision, mission, core values, location/ Historical background, facilities and it's organizational structures. The set of activities l got involved at Busitema University Arapai campus- (school farm) that is to say Orientation, Banana, Green House, orchard, Piggery, Mushroom, Cattle, goat sections and so on.

The impacts of the intern activities i.e., skills gained, responsibilities undertaken influence of the activities to my future career plans, correlation of the activities with classroom knowledge and challenges faced during the period of the activities.
