Industrial training report carried out at National Agricultural Research Laboratories Kawanda (NARL).

Abstract

This industrial training report held at NARL Kawanda central zone of Nabweru division in Wakiso district for a period of 10 weeks from 28 FEB 2022 to 6 MAY 2022 with t mine objective to equip students with practical skills and knowledge through hands on activities. This report contains four chapters, chapter one entails introduction, location, background of the report and the main objectives of the study. Chapter two describes the internship sections underwent and various activities carried out during the course of the training such as de suckering, de-leafing, digging of drainage channels and mulching and others. Chapter three explains the skills and qualifications gained, responsibilities under taken and the influence of the attachments to my future career. Chapter four contains conclusion and recommendation, finally appendices which include the work plan, and activity photos of the study.
