dc.description.abstract This report contains and describes activities. implemented, skills .and qualifications gained, challenges faced during the training, conclusion of the report and recommendation derived from the challenges at Kasajja stock farm, the objective of this training is to equip students to benefit from the skills and knowledge gained from the field, apply the knowledge they get from the classroom into the field and create confidence in students. During the internship I was attached to the department of animal production. This was followed by orientation where I was first introduced to Kasajja stock farm and later I the activities such as dipping cattle to control external parasites, castration of bulls to avoid poor traits. Training of farmers on how to manage animal production, animal treatment and deworming. These activities have made me to gain a lot of skills and knowledge like deworming of cattle, skills in castration, skills in general management of animals, communication and confidences during internship, I also faced some challenges like poor transport, lack of animal handling tools, lack of veterinary drugs and equipment at the farm, limited transport means for field work during outreaches. In conclusion there for all the activities were implemented and industrial. training was carried out successfully. I was able to gain: a lot from it. I was in position of getting practical skills and knowledge in tine with my profession, the technical advice that I provided farmers solved their problems and needs, though all were successfully done there was also some challenges which limited the smooth running of the activities. Kasajja stock farm should also increase on the number of drugs so that animals are treated well in time. en_US
