An industrial training report carried out at Teso college Aloet school farm, Arapai sub county, Dakabela county, Soroti district.

Abstract

This shows that the entire internship (industrial training) carried out within the school farm of Teso College Aloet was successful. The internship took two months and two weeks within the work station. Chapter one had mainly introduction, objectives of industrial training, back ground, objectives of the school farm, organizational structure of the farm and. its location. Chapter two there was orientation on various enterprises that included the following. Crop section; this had a diversity of practices on nursery bed and management that include site selection and secondary tillage, planting of seeds, raising of shade weeding, drainage mulching, hardening off. planting transplanting, and finally harvesting. Animal section; the practices here were overwhelming like meat inspection, castration, paddock establishment, animal heath diagnosis and treatment, feeding and feed formulation, Chapter three; contains impact of attachment especially on skills and qualifications attained, responsibilities undertaken, influence on future career, correlation with class room knowledge. Chapter four; this potrays. the ending of the report having conclusion and recommendations of the. work in the station.
