A report on industrial training carried out at the national semi arid resources research institution from 28th/ Feb / 2022 to 6th/ May/ 2022.

Abstract

In chapter one of my report is the introduction- which contains the back ground of NaSARRI like the year in which the institute was established and its evolution over time, location of NaSARRI what the institute does and its objectives then the different research programs at NaSARRI like the dry land legumes program, the dry land cereals program, the oil crops program and the cotton program. In chapter two is the description of the activities carried out under the different programs in the course of my industrial training at NaSARRI Chapter three; highlights on the impacts of the attachments that include the skills and qualifications that I gained, responsibilities undertaken, influence of attachment to my future career, challenges faced during attachment and how activities under attachment correlate with classroom knowledge. Chapter four; Summarizes the conclusions and recommendations of the attachments At the back and last pages are the appendices which include work plan and field pictures.
