A report on industrial training carried out in welthunger hilfe Lokere water catchment project Moroto district.

Abstract

Agriculture and business is the main activity supporting the livelihoods for most of the graduation approach participants as supported by organization in Karamojong. In order to reduce food insecurity among vulnerable rural populations. Welt hunger hilfe aims at the following: Strengthen important institutions and stakeholders at micro, meso, and macro (sub catchment) levels. Pilot protection and conservation measures as per Lokere CMP. Increase water access and sanitation facilities for underserved communities, improve livelihoods and living conditions of the most vulnerable developing and disseminating of appropriate agricultural technologies in Karamoja region and Teso regions for sustainable livelihood and human development. I reported to the office on 28th /02/2022 at exactly 8:00Am and the industrial training was from 28th/02/2022 to 06th /05/2022. Throughout the industrial training period, activities carried out were, permaculture training, nursery bed management, marking and swales, making bio-pesticides, distribution of Livestock, cereal banking and retail shop item basing on the purpose of this industrial training which was to equip us with knowledge and skills, methodology of monitoring the beneficiaries most of the activities hence enabling us to carry out our task successfully.
