A report on the activities carried out during internship with Soroti district local government, veterinary department.

Abstract

Industrial training is part of the syllabus at the university and every student must do as part of the course. Below are the objectives of industrial training which include: It exposes students to the outside world of works It enables student to get more experiences from. the field, helps student to convert their theory work in to practical's. Upon completion of industrial training a report is written. This report is divided into four chapters. Chapter one; this gives background, Objectives, places of attachment and Chapter two market survey, Ear tagging and vaccination of livestock to mention but a few. Chapter three: describes the impact of the attachment. It is in this chapter that the skills and qualifications and responsibilities under taken are described. It describes how the attachment influenced my future carrier plans and its correlation to classroom knowledge. And lastly chapter four is the conclusions and recommendations. The conclusions were made basing on how the activities were carried and different observations. My conclusions were drawn basing on the body in chapter two and later recommendations made from conclusions. The recommendations made are directed to organization and some to the Agribusiness and Extension department of the University as well.
