Industrial training report carried out at Pentacostal assemblies of God at Katakwi intergrated development organization (P.A.G KIDO) under the agricultural development.

Abstract

The report summarizes the activities that I carried out during my internship at KIDO starting from 28TH February to 6TH May 2022 under the instruction and guidance of the supervisors in different training programs at the organization that included: fruit value addition farmer training on good agronomic practices, sunflower seed distribution, green gram, vegetable seed distribution, nursery bed preparation and training on livelihood and resilience score card During my training, I have been exposed to effective communication which expanded my relationship with my field supervisor and the farmers reached. I built team work and goad relations with the staff of KIDO and interns from KU. Hopefully with the training (experience) that I gained, I can be able to disseminate useful agricultural information to farmers for the development of the agricultural sector. In conclusion, the training has exposed me to basic skills, and technologies in research and gained the necessary experience ill agricultural extension and application of agricultural principles and practices in the field.
