Industrial training report carried out at Rubyerwg Dairy Investment Limited.

Abstract

This report is a completion of confirmation about an internship training that was carried out at Rubyerwa dairy investment limited form. This training started on 28th Feb 2022 and ended on 06th may 2022. RDI Farm is located in Rwanyamahembe Sub County, Kashari County Mbarara District. The Major Objectives of the Industrial training was to acquire practice skills and knowledge about the management of different lit Agricultural enterprises. It was also aimed at gaining exposure to various activities carried out at the farm level in Agricultural production chain.

During the industrial training, a number of activities were carried out in animal section which include deworming, dehorning, bar tagging, animal disease diagnosis and treatment, hay and silage making, strategies in maize grain, soya bean and Toxin binder.

Through participation in the different management practices, skills and knowledge were attained which are reported in this text, However, some challenges were encountered during this period of training and these are highlighted in this report and also conclusions were made.
