Industrial training report carried out under department of production and marketing Alebtong district local government

Abstract

An industrial training which was carried out at Alebtong district under production and marketing department from 16 may, 2016 to 22 July, 2016. The purpose of the training was to enable me as a student to acquire practical skills to enhance my ability in assessment and identification of all challenges. During the period of training I was able to participate in the number of activities which includes;  Training on how to raise seedlings (citrus)  Field visits to farmers and addressing farmer's problems.  Government test for maize under operation wealth creation  Establishment of a tree demonstration (Alebtong district headquarter).  Participating in the district review meeting  Training on tree Crops (trees and timbers) of which learnt some challenges  Long distance  Poor roads that leads to farmers’ places Recommendation I would like recommend that Busitema university Arapai campus should continue sending students for industrial training because it is more of knowledge, skills, practical and it actually good.
