In this report I was mainly involved in activities of animal health that's treating animal and this animal treatment was mainly spraying to reduce ticks which brings tick borne diseases. We also did physical exam to diaognise which disease an animal was suffering from after which we had to give the right medicine and dosage.
On addition we vaccinated chickens mainly chick of 2 weeks old. The vaccination involved mainly against Newcastle and Gumbro to control any attack.
This Industrial training so much impacted on me. in the way that. it transformed my theoretical work from Busitema University Arapai Campus to practical work in the field. I have learnt a lot like injection, drug administration and chicken vaccination including use of some herbal medicines to treat against chicken diseases.
Some challenges faced were like treatment of some aggressive animals since there was no cattle crush at office. However, we managed to strain them to treat.
