A report on skills and qualifications carried out in Bugiyanya zonal agricultural research development institute under national agricultural research organisation (NARO)

Abstract

Buginyanya Zonal Agricultural Research. and Development Institute (BUGIZARDI) is under National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO). It is A government aided institute with Several enterprises e.g. Arabica coffee production, Banana section, Agro-forestry, Weather station(climatology), Potato, wheat, Barley, livestock, and others. This report contains activities and details of industrial training which were carried out in BugiZARDI. The report also contains introduction which has the definition of industrial training, background, address, mission, vision, goals, aims and objectives the industrial training at Buginyanya. research organization. The industrial training provided practical Skills, field practices to enhance the theoretical knowledge learnt in skills therefore my objectives were to acquire myself with; The various practices and experiences on crop production skills such as disease identification and management. The training revealed that some of the theory taught in class is slightly different from what is practically done in the field. This report contains four chapters i.e., 1, 2, 3 and 4. chapter I consists of introduction, background address, aims; mission, goats, organization structure and objectives. Chapter two; has description of attachment. Chapter three; has impacts of attachment and challenges faced during the training period. Chapter four; involves recommendations and conclusions. Finally, appendences and industrial training work plan from week one to week ten.
