Industrial attachment report conducted from Busitema University Arapai campus farm on 28th February to 1st May 2022.

Abstract

The industrial training was conducted at Busitema university Arapai farm specifically crop production and animal management. The training took 10 weeks starting from 28th to 1st of May 2022 and the was got through discussions, consultation with farm manager, assistant farm manager and farm attendants. A lot of skills and experience were gained. This report has four chapters and Three appendices which includes: Chapter one: Contains and explains introduction, back ground, main objectives of the study, location, mission, vision and the organization structure of Busitema university Arapai campus. Chapter two: This chapter describes various activities carried out during the course of the training such as orientation, general cleanliness of animal section, feeding, provision of water to animal, feed formulation, field marking, digging of mango holes etc. in different sections which includes orchard, attached plots, pastures, cattle, piggery small ruminants’ greenhouse etc. Chapter three: This explains the skills, and qualifications gained, responsibilities under taken and the influence of the attachment to my future career.
