A report on industrial training conducted at Karamoja Christian Ethno veterinary program (KACHEP).

Abstract

Karamoja Christian Ethno veterinary Program is a Non-Governmental Organization operating in Nabilatuk district. It is composed of board of trustees, secretariats, field workers and communities. This organization undertakes lot of activities that include; Animal health, poultry projects, Agroforestry; Home based care and business development skills. The Organization intends to see that the indigenous knowledge of the Karamojong Agro-pastoralists of using local herbs is adversely used in order to promote improved health of the animals and re-establishment of the natives into a sustainable Agro pastoral community. The information pertaining the attachment has been put int four different chapters. Chapter one consists of introduction, back ground, vision, mission among others is found. Chapter two describe the activities done on daily or weekly basis, chapter three explains the impacts of the attachment, co-relation of activities with classroom knowledge, responsibilities I conducted during the training, influence of the attachment on my future career plan. Chapter four contains the conclusion and recommendation as far as the attachment period was concerned from the 28th Feb. to 22 April, 2022.
