dc.description.abstract This is a comprehensive summary of Ten weeks industrial training report, we carried out in a group of students from Busitema University Arapai campus that was done at Busitema university Arapai campus farm starting from 28th February 2022 to 6th may 2022. The training was carried out weekly i.e., Monday to Friday and was done on both crop and animal section where various activities were conducted. The main objective of the field attachment was to obtain practical skills, knowledge and experience in the diverse fields of Agriculture that help to broaden the knowledge of the student in applying theoretical approaches studied in class to the real life experience different skills I obtained during field attachment at the different department of the institute including hay making, disease diagnosis, castration, feed formulation, determining body score, budding, grafting, fertilizer application, management practices in a green house, banana establishment. Although the period was successfully, however, there were some challenges encountered during this period of my industrial training such as inadequate tools at the farm, some grasses like the stem of Rhodes grass made injuries on my hand, incorporation of some members especially while working in the diary section, lack of accommodation for internees from the university. I would therefore wish to recommend that for future internship to provide limited facilities, accommodation for internees. In conclusion, the internship period was generally interesting and should be encouraged for all students for their personal skills development. en_US
